“With each passing week, Donald Trump’s presidency gets better”

During Monday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich weighed in on Democrats who reportedly questioned whether President Joe Biden should run for re-election in 2024.

With former President Donald Trump’s decision to run in 2024 still looming, Gingrich said “with each passing week Donald Trump’s presidency is getting better.” He pointed to record inflation, the border crisis and gasoline prices, saying people preferred Trump’s policies.

“[E]With each passing week, Donald Trump’s presidency looks better,” Gingrich advised. “Look at his inflation rate, look at the price of gas when Trump was president. You know, people find his personality too aggressive and, at times, too boring, but his politics certainly shook America. And in the Biden’s case, he’s not just falling off his bike – he’s taking the country with him. And you’re looking at Biden’s inflation record, who as president will be worse than Jimmy Carter. You’re looking at door politics Biden’s open on the southern border. You watch Biden’s allies unleash murderers.

“There are many reasons why the country, for political reasons, would favor Trump over Biden, and the last poll, I think, was around six or eight points,” he added.
