Twitterati salutes Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi’s “Vikram” film

Superstar Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated film “Vikram” hit theaters today and fans have booked their day one tickets at the nearest cinemas. Considering the film marks Haasan’s return to the big screens after four years, fans had high expectations for it. And luckily, they weren’t disappointed.

The film opened with positive responses from audiences and that should translate to big box office numbers as well.

According to critics on Twitter, Haasan has powerful action sequences in the film and he did his role full justice. Fahad was a visual treat to watch. Meanwhile, fans also loved Vijay Sethupathi’s performance.

“Vikram” revolves around two siblings, a mobster and a politician, who kidnap a government official. Then a retired policeman, Vikram, is tasked with saving the day.

Directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and backed by Kamal Haasan’s production, Raaj Kamal Films International, the action-thriller has an ensemble cast with Narain, Shivani Narayanan, Kalidas Jayaram, Antony Varghese and Arjun Das playing key roles.
