Salman Khan threatening letter case: Jailed mobster Lawrence Bishnoi denies role

In the ongoing investigation into the death threat letter case involving Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan, Delhi police questioned imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi on Tuesday.

And, according to reports, Bishnoi has denied any involvement in sending said death threat letter and maintained that he had nothing to do with it.

Bishnoi had sworn to kill Salman years ago for the latter’s alleged involvement in the infamous deer poaching affair. And, according to the latest reports, the recent death threat letter also has two signatories with only the initials GB and LB-, which are interpreted as the names of Lawrence Bishnoi and his Canada-based assistant Goldy Brar. That’s why the special cell investigates and monitors the activities of the gangster.

ANI took to Twitter and shared the latest case update on Wednesday. The tweet read: “Delhi Police questioned imprisoned mobster Lawrence Bishnoi over threatening letter to actor Salman Khan. He said he had nothing to do with the matter and did not know. who issued this letter.

It was reported on Sunday that writer Salim Khan, 87, was handed an unsigned handwritten threatening letter by an unknown person on a bench where he normally rests after jogging on the bandstand promenade from Bandra. And, the letter was addressed to him and his son Salman.

Police are also combing through CCTV footage of the area for clues and interviewing residents for further leads on the threatening letter.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman recently flew to Hyderabad to continue filming for ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’.
