Nigerian rapper Burna Boy collapses on stage as he delivers a tearful tribute to the late Sidhu Moose Wala. look

Nigerian rapper Burna Boy paid a teary-eyed tribute during his concert to famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was recently murdered in Punjab. In the videos that went viral on social media, Burna was seen saying Sidhu’s name into the microphone and also sobbed while doing so.

“RIP Sidhu Moose Wala,” the rapper said and then did Sidhu’s signature step where he kicked his thigh and pointed a finger up. After Sidhu’s death on May 29, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy tweeted a moving tribute with Sidhu’s photo.

He wrote: “Legends never die. Heartbroken. RIP SIDHU MOOSE WALA. Shit still doesn’t seem real. Many celebrities and fans reacted to the Nigerian rapper’s emotional tribute on social media. The ‘Fukrey’ actor Richa Chadha tweeted: ‘I just can’t get over his death…Burna boy, one of Nigeria’s great cries on stage as he remembers Sidhu Moose Wala with a broken heart emoji.” Twitter user, Prithvi Kapila wrote, “@burna boy pays tribute to Sidhu #JusticForSidhu.”

Another Twitter user, Jasmeet Singh Chouhan, also shared the video of the Nigerian rapper on his Twitter account and wrote, “#Sidhumoosewala #JusticeForSidhuMoosewala. He tagged Burna Boy, who couldn’t hold back his tears as he paid a very special tribute to Sidhu. Moosewala with a flower and clasped hands emoji. Sidhu nal Ek Alag hi level of attachment if in people all over the world. Eh kamayi if Sidhu di life di.”

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village, Mansa district of Punjab on May 29. The incident happened a day after his security was removed by Punjab police, among 424 other people. The singer’s death left his fans in shock. Born on June 17, 1993, Moosewala, whose real name is Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, belongs to the village of Moosewala, located in the Mansa district of Punjab.

He was very popular among young people, with 6.9 million followers on Instagram. Moose Wala has reached new heights of popularity with songs like ‘295’, ‘So High’, ‘Issa Jatt’, ‘Tochan’ and ‘Dollar’. However, his stardom was often overtaken by the controversies surrounding him for promoting drugs and violence through his songs. Entering politics in December 2021, the Punjabi singer joined the Congress party and also contested from Mansa, however, he lost.
