Nat Sciver and Katherine Brunt, England’s Women’s Cricket World Cup winning duo, tied the knot in a private ceremony over the weekend. The affair unfolded in the presence of some current and past members of the England squad, including skipper Heather Knight, Isa Guha, Danni Wyatt and Jenny Gunn.
On the occasion, the official England Cricket Board (ECB) Twitter account shared a message and wrote: “Our warmest congratulations to Katherine Brunt and Nat Sciver who got married this weekend.”

For the uninitiated, Brunt and Sciver were both part of the 2017 ODI World Cup-winning squad, which won the championship under Knight’s management. The duo also competed together at the 2022 ODI World Cup in New Zealand, where England bounced back strongly from a forgettable start and end as runners-up.
The versatile 29-year-old Sciver announced her engagement to Brunt in October 2019. However, the Covid-19 pandemic hit and delayed their wedding before they finally tied the knot this weekend.
Sciver-Brunt thus also became the third renowned couple of an international team to marry after the South African duo Dane van Niekerk-Marizanne Kapp and the New Zealander Lea Tahuhu-Amy Satterthwaite.
