Ever since India withdrew from the ICC Women’s World Cup group stage in New Zealand earlier this year, speculation has swirled over the future of Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami. Mithali broke many hearts on Wednesday June 08 as the ODI captain announced her retirement from all forms of the game.
Mithali took to his official Twitter account to share a heartfelt note for his fans and acknowledged them for their continued support before also thanking BCCI. She captioned the post, “Looking forward to my second run with your blessing and support.”
