Manchester United are undertaking an overhaul ahead of next season as Paul Pogba has ended his six-year association with the Red Devils. The Frenchman, who is considered one of the most versatile players on the pitch, will leave the club as a free agent after talks failed to materialize for a contract extension.
For the uninitiated, Poga joined the United academy at the age of sixteen. He played for the club until 2012 before leaving on a free transfer aged 19. From there, Pogba joined Juventus and rose through the ranks with his scintillating performances on the pitch. United broke the bank in a bid to bring Poga back, however, this time around his tenure wasn’t as successful. During his time, United’s best position in the league was when they finished second under Jose Mourinho. The 29-year-old has had a turbulent time at the club due to his terms with Mourinho and to some extent with Ralf Rangnick as well.
The midfielder has once again attracted interest from Juventus and Real Madrid. It will be interesting to see if he joins the UEFA Champions League winners or returns to his former club.

A lot of chopping and changing is happening at the Red Devils after their regular run in the current EPL season. Under Erik ten Hag’s new regime, plenty of changes are to be expected – as confirmed by the Dutchman – as new faces could be added to the Manchester-based club. Earlier, veteran goalkeeper Lee Grant also ended his tenure at the club.
