French Open: Rafael Nadal defeats Novak Djokovic and reaches the semi-finals

Rafael Nadal beat world number 1 Novak Djokovic to secure a place in the semi-finals of Roland-Garros 2022.

The 13-time Roland Garros champion won the duo’s 59th career meeting 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7/4) after a four-hour, 12-minute quarter-final noisy. Cour Philippe Chatrier.

Nadal sealed his eighth win in 10 French Open appearances over last year’s winner Djokovic at 01:16 local time (2316 GMT Tuesday) to take on third seed Alexander Zverev.
