Did Putin fake his visit to the military hospital? Photos reveal a familiar face

According to eagle-eyed netizens, Russian President Vladimir Putin recently arranged a visit to a military hospital in Moscow to meet with wounded soldiers.

The Kremlin released a video a few days ago in which Putin can be seen at the Mandryk Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Russian Defense Ministry.

In the video, he can be seen talking to members of the Russian Armed Forces being treated after being injured in the special military operation, as well as medical staff at the hospital.

He told one of the Russian soldier’s sons that “he will be proud of his father”.

Netizens claimed to have recognized one of the “patients” at the military hospital from a previous event.

According to Adam Rang, a self-proclaimed “counter-propaganda” activist living in Estonia, pointed out that a wounded soldier looked like a factory worker Putin had met before.

He posted an entire Twitter thread of such incidents showing that this is a common tactic used by Russia.

In response, another Twitter user commented, “That ‘factory worker’ and ‘wounded soldier’ that Putin keeps meeting also works for the FSB. He’s the Kremlin equivalent of Mrs Rabbit in Peppa Pig.

The United States and Britain have accused Russia of spreading disinformation online and manipulating public opinion over the war in Ukraine.

They vehemently rejected Russian claims that the West aims to control all information flows and define what is true or not.
