“Bite Bezos” and “Suck Zuck,” the ice cream truck endorses “Eat the Rich”; Internet users in crisis

Tackling capitalism head-on, a New York, Brooklyn-based artist collective called MSCHF recently launched a new ice cream truck shop, albeit with a twist. From July 11-13, they sold ice cream branded “Mschfsicle” (pronounced mischief) for $10 apiece in and around New York and Los Angeles.

A few of Mschfsicle’s strains have been named ‘Bite Bezos’, ‘Much Musk’, ‘Gobble Gate’, ‘Snack on Jack’ and ‘Suck Zuck’, among others. All the ice cream referenced big tech billionaires viz. Jeff Bezos from Amazon, Elon Musk from Tesla, Bill Gates from Microsoft, Jack Dorsey from Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook aka Meta.

The art project was named “Eat the Rich” and the price of the popsicles was inflated to reflect the irony of the situation. The popsicles and their packaging also bore uncanny resemblances to the billionaires whose names they bore.

Lately, there’s been kind of a growing trend on the internet, especially among Gey-Zs and millennials, of taxing the rich and preventing them from exploiting their workers. The slogan “Eat the rich” has also found its way into Internet chat rooms. The company was looking to start a conversation. His campaign received a major boost when internet celebrity David Dobrik also came across one of their pop trucks.
