Amber Heard steps off a private jet during Johnny Depp’s first libel trial

On Thursday, Aquaman actress Amber Heard was spotted out in public for the first time since her defamation lawsuit with ex-husband Johnny Depp reached a verdict.

Exactly, eight days after the jury awarded Depp $10.35 million in damages at trial, the actress was photographed at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.

According to a report from TMZ, Heard was in New York for meetings earlier in the day and flew from New Jersey to Washington, DC, before returning to his rental home in Virginia.

Photos from the actress’ latest outing are making the rounds on social media.

Meanwhile, Depp fans aren’t too happy and they’re making their thoughts known on social media. Ever since Heard’s attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, claimed in a previous interview that the actress couldn’t afford to pay Depp $10 million in damages, netizens have been blaming the actress for stealing private and not for commercial purposes.

One user tweeted: “I think it’s hypocritical of Amber Heard to claim that she has no money to pay Johnny Depp and the charities she has used, but that she can afford a YSL handbag, a private jet, a PR team and a mansion at 22,000 a month.”

Another wrote: “So tmz just posted that Amber Heard flew in a PRIVATE jet to DC and was escorted by a vip suv. Too bad for a broke woman who can’t afford a charity “because it was sued. (sic)”

Minutes after the jury announced its verdict in Depp and Heard’s defamation lawsuits, the actress posted a statement on her official Instagram account.

The statement read: “The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I am heartbroken that the mountain of evidence was still not enough to stand up to power, influence and disproportionate hold of my ex-husband.”

She added: “I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It’s a setback. It sets the clock back to a time when a woman who spoke out and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. . pushes back the idea that violence against women should be taken seriously.”
